Richard was born in Crouch End, North London and educated at Durham University and the British College of Osteopathic Medicine, obtaining a Masters in Osteopathy. He also is a GIFT graduate 2016 from the world renowned Gray institute of functional medicine in Michigan, US. Richard is also a qualified Qi gong teacher and a Micro Systems Acupunturist taught by John Tindall, Yuan College.

Richard has a strong sporting background having represented England Under-18’s, Saracens U21’s and Richmond 1st XV in Rugby Union and was also a member of Durham University’s title-winning Rugby 1st XV in 2003.

That experience, combined with his understanding of the body gives Richard an excellent insight into the recovery and rehabilitation from musculoskeletal injury. from multiple angles and perspectives.
